Why reverse racism is a myth. The far-right. The weaponisation of violence against women and girls. The problem with Hate Crime solutions. The genocide against the Palestinians perpetrated by Israel. Sudan. Congo. The cost of fast fashion and overconsumption. The history of Black and Brown-led protests and strikes in the UK. The legacy of Partition. Institutional racism in the police…you name it\, we talked about it.\n\nBut there is so much more to talk about and we want to bring more voices in. Particularly Black and Brown voices who have lived experience of living at an intersection. Of being a Black man\, or a trans Brown woman\, of facing misogynoir\, or racism\, ableism or classism and more. This is why this opportunity is for those who are Black and Brown only.\n\nIf you want to write for us\, either a 1000-2000 word article or 2\,000 character social media post\, please send an example of your writing alongside a content idea you would like to pitch to meg@antiracistcumbria.org\n\nWe will then get in touch to let you know if we want to progress.\n\nIf you are successful in your application\, we will have an online meeting to discuss the idea and set a deadline.
